Real, dynamic, sassy and a joy to listen to are The Lissy Stanton Band. They are Gold-Coast based and feature Lissy Stanton on piano, vocals and tin whistle, David Neden on bass and vocals and Robin Walsh on drums, percussion and vocals. Lissy is an accomplished musician and singer/songwriter and audiences are drawn in to her natural warm style and gorgeous vocals. Lissy's original compositions have featured in the finals of the NCEIA Dolphin Awards and the National MusicOz Awards and she is a regular performer on the East coast. Being based in Sydney and the Gold Coast for most of their career, David Neden and Robin Walsh have worked predominately in the club and rock and roll scene. During this period they have worked with many national and international artists both in Australia and overseas. |
LSB brings you a classy collection of covers and original material. Some featured artists are: Lissy Stanton, Nora Jones, Bonnie Raitt, Carole King, Ricki Lee Jones, Tracey Chapman and Nina Simone. Work has commenced on the next original album on offer from Lissy. Lissy and the boyz took time out during December and January to record the first single with Geordie Leach from Padded Cell Productions in Bilambil, NSW.
